Navya's Fight to get to Recovery

Navya’s story, shared in October 2022 as “First Her Children, Then Her Injury,” continues to unfold with urgency. She needs surgery to save her foot—a procedure that cannot happen until childcare is secured for her young children.

Save Kids Trust is supporting her family with dry rations, a lifeline that also addresses the children’s malnutrition. Their home is a single room with minimal possessions, underscoring the fragility of their situation.

We are actively working to arrange care so Navya can undergo surgery and begin her recovery. SKT staff visit her often to make sure her medication is keeping infection down.
