Our Work

Our Mission

Our Projects

Save Kids Trust (SKT) operates in four regions across Jaipur, each made up of several informal settlements.

In three of these areas, SKT runs community healthcare clinics that serve as central hubs for medical, educational, and vocational programs. In 2025, we began building a fourth clinic to serve the remaining neighborhood.

Primary healthcare is the entry point through which we connect with our neighbors and earn their trust.

To accommodate work schedules, our clinics are open in the evenings.  For those who prefer a less formal setting—or who live in settlements further from our permanent locations—SKT also operates mobile “street clinics.” These pop-up clinics allow us to extend our reach, build new relationships, and serve additional neighborhoods. We hold 2 to 4 street clinics each month, and between our permanent and mobile clinics, we serve approximately 1300 patients every month.

While our clinics focus on primary care, we also connect patients to specialized medical services when needed.

We have treated thousands of complex cases including cardiac surgeries, high-risk childbirth due to anemia, provision of artificial limbs, support for victims of domestic violence, and emergency accident care. Thanks to strong partnerships with hospitals and specialty care facilities, we are able to refer families for advanced treatment and surgical interventions

The trust built through healthcare enables us to educate and empower.

Led by Dr. Sharwan and his team, SKT offers health education programs that help individuals and communities take control of their well-being. Topics include seasonal illnesses, menstrual health, maternal care, and family wellness. Participation varies—from a handful of attendees to over 75—depending on the topic and location.

Over time, SKT has also expanded to meet other health-related needs beyond medicine.

We offer vocational training, such as sewing classes for women, which can lead to income-generating opportunities. Some graduates receive sewing machines, supplies, or startup funds to launch small businesses—often a lifeline for widows and women in need. We also launched a food staples distribution program to support families dependent on daily wages.

At SKT, our model is simple but powerful: we meet people where they are—with compassion, care, and consistency.

By focusing on long-term relationships, we not only address urgent medical needs but also invest in lasting change. Our work strengthens families today while planting the seeds of better health, knowledge, and opportunity for the next generation. Whether it’s a mother receiving prenatal care, a child learning about hygiene, or a woman gaining the tools to start a business, each interaction builds toward a healthier, more resilient future—for individuals, families, and entire communities.
